Nigerian Community Center Capital Fund Appeal

To date, we have accomplished phase 1 of our dreams and we need your continued financial support to accomplish phase 2 of our dreams.

Phase 1 of our dream was to purchase a building – The Nigerian Community Center. This dream became a reality on August 15, 2007 when we purchased a building located at 8028 W. Appleton Avenue, in Milwaukee for $160,000. We had to put down a down payment of $40,000 cash and financed the balance of $120,000 through M&I Bank for 15 years.

Phase 2 of our dream was to renovate the community center to meet all of our needs. We need approximately $50,000 to renovate the building to include new men and women restrooms for at least 150 people, serving kitchen, heating and cooling systems, window and façade upgrades. We want to turn our community center into a place that we are all going to be proud of as Nigerians.

I know we can do it if we all chip in what ever we can afford. We need your continued TAX DEDUCTIBLE financial support to make this dream a reality.

Please share this great accomplishment with your family and friends. We desperately need your continued financial support and we look forward to receiving your payment towards your pledges.
